Disney World

Disney Land was built in the 1950s and was a huge commercial success. It was then that Disney started buying up land in Orlando to build a replica as well as be able to spread out to other theme parks.
Disney World opened in 1973 and has been the number one tourist attraction in the world for families ever since. About 40 million people each year visit Disney World. Today, Disney World consists of the Magic Kingdom theme park, Epcot Center, MGM World, Animal Kingdom as well as a host of water parks, entertainment centers and up and coming theme parks. Universal Studios
Like Disney World, Universal Studios modeled their studio theme park after the one in California. As years went on, it became almost as big of an attraction as the Disney parks. Today, Universal Studios has two large theme park, a slew of hotels and entertainment areas. Many people take their Orlando vacation taking in the sights of Universal Studios just as they did with Disney and the competition of the two parks offers tourists more value for their money.
Sea World
Sea World is seeing Marine life at its best. In the 1970s, Sea World and The Magic Kingdom were the only two attractions in Orlando, until Disney started expanding and Universal moved in. Today, Sea World still attracts families who enjoy marine life and seeing Shamu, the Killer Whale at the sea shows that draw crowds of thousands every single day. The cost for Sea World is less than Disney World and the crowds are not as bad. This is something that you may want to take the day to see during your Orlando vacation.
During your Orlando vacation, you have a choice of theme parks, restaurants, accommodations, and attractions. There is so much to see and do just on International Drive, which is the main strip in Orlando, that you will be overwhelmed.
