The Magic Kingdom

The Magic Kingdom has three resorts that are located right within the Magic Kingdom. Animal Kingdom

Disney's Animal Kingdom is the newest of the theme parks. If you love nature, you will enjoy your stay at the Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge. This resort gives you access to Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park and surrounds an open zoo where animals roam freely. You will be able to see Giraffe, Elephants and other animals right outside your balcony. This is an excellent place to visit if you like animals and has many amenities for any family.

Disney's MGM

There are several hotels that are located in the MGM theme park, including The Dolphin and The Swan, two of the most elegant of all of the Disney World resorts. These hotels do not run cheap, but are the epitome of elegance and may be a great choice for your Orlando vacation. When you stay at one of the Disney resorts, you can get free transportation to and from the theme parks, discounts on theme park tickets and early entry to the parks. This can enable you to get a head start on attractions that you wish to see without waiting in lines.

Disney Village

Disney Village is located just outside the theme parks and offers less expensive accommodations and restaurants but still gives you the perks of staying within Disney World. You can still get free shuttle transportation to the Disney theme parks and free parking. There is a large variety of hotels, many of which are economically priced right for families. There are also dozens of restaurants from which to choose in the Disney Village resort area. This is a resort area that is priced right for families visiting Disney World on a budget.
