Where To Eat During Your Orlando Vacation
When you take your Orlando vacation, you are going to be barraged by places where you can eat. Whether you are looking for economy or luxury, you can find both in Orlando.
If you are looking for some of the finest dining during your Orlando Vacation, look no further than some of the restaurants in the luxury hotels at the Disney resorts. The Disney Resorts are all about opulence. Some of the newer resorts boast the finest restaurants in all of Orlando. Some of the places you may want to check out, both in and out of the resorts and attractions in Orlando include the following:
The Grand Floridian Resort
This luxury resort, modeled after the late 19th century resorts that were once scattered all over the country, features both fine dining as well as casual dining. One of the best aspects of the Disney resorts is that they always have both family oriented restaurants that are more budget minded as well as elegant, fine dining restaurants.
Critico's at the Grand Floridian is more of a casual dining restaurant located right on the hotel grounds. Although it is more casual than Victoria & Albert's, which is more fine dining, you cannot wear shorts or blue jeans. The dress code is business casual which means no flip flops, either.
Victoria & Albert's is an elegant, Victorian dining room in the Grand Floridian Resort that you should visit at least once during your Orlando Vacation as it seems as if you are slipping back in time.
Animal Kingdom Resort
Disney's Animal Kingdom Resort is one of a kind. Both an elegant resort that surrounds a free range zoo, this is one place you want to visit during your Orlando vacation. There are two places to eat at the Animal Kingdom Resort plus a cafeteria. Boma is the fine dining option that features the exotic dishes of Africa. As the Animal Kingdom Resort is built around the African theme, You may have to make reservations as Boma fills up very fast.
Epcot Center
Epcot Center is one of the oldest of the Disney theme parks. If you are planning on eating at a theme park, you will get much better choices here than at any of the other Disney theme parks during your Orlando vacation. The World Showcase at Epcot Center features a glimpse of countries like Japan, China, Norway, Italy, France, England, Canada, Morocco, Mexico and Germany to name a few. Each of the mini-countries have restaurants that feature their authentic cuisine. The French area of the World Showcase not only has elegant dining, but also a café with pastries as well as a cheese and wine shop.
