Places To Stay During Your Orlando Vacation
When you are taking an Orlando vacation, you have a host of different places where you can stay. There are literally thousands of hotels at your disposal in Orlando, Florida. Much of where you choose to stay depends on your budget, how long you plan to stay and where you plan to go. Here are some options:
Disney Resorts
There are several Disney World theme parks and each has resorts within the park. The most famous of all of the Disney theme parks is the Magic Kingdom that has three famous resorts - The Contemporary Resort, the Polynesian Village and The Grand Floridian. Other Disney resorts include the Dolphin, The Swan, The Animal Kingdom Lodge and more. Disney World is constantly expanding and it can be difficult to keep up with all of the resorts within the actual parks.
When you stay within one of the parks, you are a monorail ride away from the park. You can get a discount ticket to the park and also get to enter the park earlier than the public. As the monorail runs between the different parks, you can get a pass that enables you to visit more than one park a day. You can get a five day pass to visit each of the parks for five days straight. This can be your best option if you are staying in one of the resorts.
Staying inside one of the Disney resorts is convenient and you can also look for inclusive packages that offer entrance to the theme parks as well as accommodations. In addition to the Disney resorts, you can also stay at one of the Universal Studios resorts that are located in the Universal Studios theme parks.
International Drive
This is basically the downtown area of Orlando and is like a theme park unto itself. There are hundreds of hotels, restaurants and entertainment areas in this part of Orlando. If you choose to stay at one of the hotels on International Drive or in the downtown area of Orlando, you are close enough to both the Universal Studios and Disney World theme parks but will not pay the price that you will pay if you stay in one of the parks.
Lake Buena Vista
This is the area that is located just North of Disney World and is less expensive than staying in one of the parks. You can still get free parking at the theme parks or shuttle service but the price of the hotels and restaurants in this area is a lot less than those in the resorts. Lake Buena Vista also has villas and vacation condos that you can rent as well.
You have such a myriad of options when it comes to where to stay during your Orlando vacation that it is impossible to list them all here. Whether you stay in the resorts, right outside of the resorts or in the downtown Orlando area, you are promised never to be bored. Orlando is the family vacation capital of the world.
